If I said it once, I've said it a thousand times..."Take advantage of Restaurant specials!" We got the annual Buckhead Life Restaurant cards for signing up on the website. You get a card for the Months of Jun-Sept for one of their restaurants and you get $30 off. For June we got Bluepointe.

We started off with sushi appitizers. The fried sushi was the bomb!

I normally don't write about potatoes, but either I was really hungry or these were some good potatoes!

Angela opted for the Asian Short ribs. The little bit that she allowed me to have was off the chain! The Asian flavors were very pronounced and there was a wonderful hoisen type flavor going on with them.

Another shot of the goodness.

I had the butterfish on top of a coconut rice cake. Not that bad. The fish was a bit "oily", but the flavor was nice. I guess I need to explain the "oily" part. It was not greasy at all, but it just seemed like a fish like that should be cooked in such a way to allow the fish to release some of its natural oils to remain balanced. As a comparison on how to do it right, I recomend taking a visit to Roy's Hawaiian Fusion restaurant.
The meal was not bad by any means. I highly reccomend a trip to the bar or at least a try of their innovative martini menu...WOW!
