Aqua Blue

For the life of me I can not come up with a good reason why it has taken me so long to blog on this restaurant...it is one of my favorites. I have yet to have a bad meal or a portion of a bad meal here. This was another outing with the Crewe...and as usual with Aqua Blue, it was an experience!

We started out with the Chef's plate of appetizers. It included the Oh My God roll (rightly named), bacon wrapped scallops, and an assortment of Salmon and Tuna sushi. I knew the sushi was good, but I did not realize "HOW GOOD" until Sharon stated that the sushi was as good as she has had in Japan...Big Kudos and well deserved!
For cocktails Donna had the usual Cosmo, Angela ordered the Pineapple Infused Martini. I ordered the Sparkling Peach Martini. You just CAN'T go wrong with their martinis.

After our appetizers and drinks, ordered my soup course. The chowder was incredible. EVERYTHING was fresh from the veggies to the seafood, to the cream. WOW!

Entree time...I'm excited at this point (as usual). I ordered the sea bass and told the waitress to have the chef prepare it anyway he wants...good choice!:

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words yet words escape how good this food is:

Medium Rare Blackened Tuna w/ grits

..even the AIR around the plate tasted good!
The mushrooms were so good that even Angela ate some...she HATES mushrooms...

And next...
DESERT!
Angela is on a diet and wanted to limit sugar...which means that by default, so am I. Sharon and I each got the sorbet...WOW!!!!
Donna opted for the chocolate volcano cake...YUM!

Angela's shoe game...just because
The Crewe!! :-)

PROS: The food is great! There is ample parking. The atmosphere is incredible. There is almost always a food special going on.
CONS: None
